Planning for my Crocs Commercial

     I would like to go down the list as to what I want to do for planning on my Crocs commercial. First I’m going to talk about my props, I plan to go into a grocery store, and come out with certain objects that I would use as props. I may also be showing an athletic person playing a sport in Crocs, so if they use certain equipment for that sport that would also be a prop. I may also be laying on a couch, which is a prop. For my costumes, depending on the clip I would be wearing mostly productive clothing, an athletic outfit for the sports scene, or just an errands outfit if I’m going to the grocery store, and if I’m in my house, some comfy clothes. For my schedule it is going to be filmed on different  days, I want to film my grocery store scene potentially this weekend on the 24th. I have planned my sports scene outside this Wednesday on the 28th. My home scene would be done next weekend on the 31st, this is if everything works out in my favor. The set is going to be sunny and bright if I’m running my errands, and it would also be the same for my sports scene, my at home scene would be chill and dim in lighting. For my location I’m going to film my errands at the grocery store, and my at home scene in my house. For the sports scene, I would like to do something with volleyball, so it’s going to be on an empty court, I don’t want to use a volleyball filed, because it’s not going to be for practice, but for something else. I have 3 backup plans for my commercial. If it rains for my sport scene I could move it inside. For my volleyball scene I wanted to have it where I would be hitting a volleyball against a wall, because they often time do drills to practice their setting, a technique in volleyball. If it rained I could move this inside and practice this technique against a wall in my house. I do not think I need a backup for my at home scene, because I just plan on laying on my couch, and I don’t think anything will go wrong with that. For my errands scene, if the store happens to be closed this day, I could run my errands somewhere else. It is my intention to go to Publix, but just in case that doesn’t work, maybe I could go to Walmart, or Walgreens, or any other store. For my planning I may have a few guests in there, maybe my mom or a friend, but they are not guaranteed so I didn’t include them completely just in case it doesn’t work out. I hope that my plan comes to life well when I film

2nd Location Filming Blog

 We talked about the process at our first filming location. Now I am going to discuss our second filming location. We went to my partner's house. Where we filmed the other half of our opening sequence. We started as soon as we arrived at her house. We had just previously left the park. The lighting no longer mattered because we were filming the rest inside. We checked for or props. All we needed was a hammer and notes My partner supplied that at her house. Next, we did touch-ups. We also did outfit changes. We did this because we wanted to make it seem like it was a different day in the film.  We went over the script for the other two scenes to make sure we had it down pact. Filming at my partner's house was easier than the park. We didn't have to refilm that much. Maybe about 2 or 3 times. Planning Storyboard for Music Video

For the storyboard, my partner and I came up with 2 separate halves of the storyboard and put them together below. Just as in my last storyboard, I am a terrible drawer, but I did try my hardest on my drawings. I drew the top half, my partner drew the bottom half. I will start by explaining that we want to start our commercial off with us being in the park and then moving to my partner,  Fatima's house. We establish the setting of our first location, in the story board, being the park. I also did a drawing of the next part of our music video, us having a picnic at the park. We have decided to incorporate props with the idea by having a picnic setup, with the blanket and basket, and well even be eating food/using it as a prop.
