Planning Storyboard for my Crocs Commercial
For my storyboard I created six drawings of what my commercial is going to look like. I feel like in advance I have mention my terrible drawing skills In my first drawing it has an image of Crocs. I am going to start off my commercial with a clip of my Crocs and getting a detail of what they look like. In my second clip I have a drawing of my feet in the Crocs. I did this because in my commercial I'm going to have an image of what the Crocs would look like on a a person, just so people can get the perspective. In my third drawing I have an image of me going into Publix with my Crocs on. I know it maybe really hard to see the shoes, but this is supposed to represent me walking into the store with my Crocs, to do a daily errand. In the fourth drawing I have an image of me shopping in Publix. When I film my commercial I will go into the store and show a representation of me doing groceries in my Crocs. This is going to show the productivity side I had continuously spoke on in my last blog. In my fifth drawing its an image of me reading a book. In my last blogs I had said that in this clip I was going to be watching tv, but in the storyboard I decided to change it because I think it would be better if I was reading. In the image I'm going to be on the couch with my Crocs, reading a book. This is going to represent the comfortability of Crocs that I also repeatedly talked about in my past blogs. In my final drawing its me practicing with a volleyball. I feel like I have to mention that in no way shape or form should these shoes be used to do actual practice, or training, because they are not sports shoes. What I did previously mention in my past blogs was that if you were doing simple self practicing drills, for example setting in volleyball, you wouldn't require a lot of movement and could do those kinds of activities in crocs. In this image that was I'm going to do I the actual commercial, but its going to be very subtle practice. This also shows more productivity that you can get done in the shoes. I have attached an image of my storyboard below on what it should all look like.
