Planning Storyboard for Music Video

For the storyboard, my partner and I came up with 2 separate halves of the storyboard and put them together below. Just as in my last storyboard, I am a terrible drawer, but I did try my hardest on my drawings. I drew the top half, my partner drew the bottom half. I will start by explaining that we want to start our commercial off with us being in the park and then moving to my partner,  Fatima's house. We establish the setting of our first location, in the story board, being the park. I also did a drawing of the next part of our music video, us having a picnic at the park. We have decided to incorporate props with the idea by having a picnic setup, with the blanket and basket, and well even be eating food/using it as a prop. After we have our picnic we will do the other half of our music video in another location. I We will be filming ourselves heading to the other location, walking and talking like normal friends do. At my partners house we will start our other half of the music video by playing just dance on the TV. I want it to be understood that these seem like things that have nothing to do with the song, but it does. We want to incorporate the normalization of interracial relationships, and I feel like the best way to show our connection of being black and white is by acting like it doesn't matter.  We also came up with a cool concept of doing the video in POV, so you can see us through each other's eyes. In the last parts of the video, we will also be pretending to do each other's makeup. We will also have a closing scene of us on the phone saying goodbye to each other. I drew some stick figures in some of my images, and even though we were told to shy away from that.  I would like to point out that it was impossible for me to draw real people. For most of our storyboard and music video, we took inspiration from one of my favorite movies, Camp Rock, The Final Jam. In the end of the movie, the 2 camps had to battle head to head and one of the camps chose to make a memorable song to share their experience about their time at their camp, instead of the other team who was very competitive. I feel like we wanted to do something similar and be very fun with it. This is what we did for the storyboard.
