Genre Research: 47 Meters Down

For our final film me and my partner chose to do a shark movie named 47 meters down. This thriller was made in 2017and 2 sisters named Kate and Lisa made an attempt to go on a vacation to México and have fun experiences. In their attempt to have fun Lisa on of the sisters is nervous about the activities, because it was such a sketchy place. They wanted to do a shark dive, but that failed terribly when they're cage broke off of the boat and they landed at the bottom of the water stranded. Another major issue is they're running on limited amounts of oxygen. With not a lot of survival time the boatmen seek for rescue while the 2 sisters fight for survival throughout a treacherous time. They battle sharks and in a plot twist, hallucinate most of their time down there. With only one of the sisters making it to the end, not everything happened the way they pictured it. The connection between the two films is our element of surprise. The mother in out final task had no idea her best friend would end up killing her. How could she? It ends in her death just like one of the sisters in 47 meters down. The sisters are surprised by the run of events that day. They came to enjoy such a time, but ended up in probably one of the worst experiences of their life. What I liked about the movie is the anticipation.  like shark movies, and I feel as though the plot twist with the hallucinations made it really good. What I didn't like about the movies is the lack of common sense. One of the sisters mentioned how she didn't think this situation was entirely safe. Had they taken a seconds to stop and think they could have realized how dangerous it was and not have done this activity. It could have saved one of their lives.

2nd Location Filming Blog

 We talked about the process at our first filming location. Now I am going to discuss our second filming location. We went to my partner's house. Where we filmed the other half of our opening sequence. We started as soon as we arrived at her house. We had just previously left the park. The lighting no longer mattered because we were filming the rest inside. We checked for or props. All we needed was a hammer and notes My partner supplied that at her house. Next, we did touch-ups. We also did outfit changes. We did this because we wanted to make it seem like it was a different day in the film.  We went over the script for the other two scenes to make sure we had it down pact. Filming at my partner's house was easier than the park. We didn't have to refilm that much. Maybe about 2 or 3 times. Planning Storyboard for Music Video

For the storyboard, my partner and I came up with 2 separate halves of the storyboard and put them together below. Just as in my last storyboard, I am a terrible drawer, but I did try my hardest on my drawings. I drew the top half, my partner drew the bottom half. I will start by explaining that we want to start our commercial off with us being in the park and then moving to my partner,  Fatima's house. We establish the setting of our first location, in the story board, being the park. I also did a drawing of the next part of our music video, us having a picnic at the park. We have decided to incorporate props with the idea by having a picnic setup, with the blanket and basket, and well even be eating food/using it as a prop.
