Pre-Filming Blog

 At this stage, my partner and I have not started filming yet. We plan to film in about 2 weeks. My partner and I have rehearsed our scripts since the last time I have blogged. We continue to practice on the phone for social distance reasons. In our play, we plan to have 3 people. My brother is going to play Jackson. We came up with his name because his real name is Percy. It correlates with the movie Percy Jackson, which is one of my mom's favorite movies. That is why she named Percy. My partner's name is Georgia. We got her name from the Netflix show Ginny and Georgia. My name Allura, and I got it from a book I was reading. We still plan to have 3 locations, my house, my partner's house, and the park. We are going to pay attention to details while filming. Even if it means filming over and over again until we get it perfect.  It is important to make great edits also for a good final project. Like I have said in my previous blogs, I want to show improvement. I want the transitions from each of my films to show how much I have learned. I hope all of my hard work reflects onto my final project and that Cambridge sees that. This is more of my pre-filming blog.

2nd Location Filming Blog

 We talked about the process at our first filming location. Now I am going to discuss our second filming location. We went to my partner's house. Where we filmed the other half of our opening sequence. We started as soon as we arrived at her house. We had just previously left the park. The lighting no longer mattered because we were filming the rest inside. We checked for or props. All we needed was a hammer and notes My partner supplied that at her house. Next, we did touch-ups. We also did outfit changes. We did this because we wanted to make it seem like it was a different day in the film.  We went over the script for the other two scenes to make sure we had it down pact. Filming at my partner's house was easier than the park. We didn't have to refilm that much. Maybe about 2 or 3 times. Planning Storyboard for Music Video

For the storyboard, my partner and I came up with 2 separate halves of the storyboard and put them together below. Just as in my last storyboard, I am a terrible drawer, but I did try my hardest on my drawings. I drew the top half, my partner drew the bottom half. I will start by explaining that we want to start our commercial off with us being in the park and then moving to my partner,  Fatima's house. We establish the setting of our first location, in the story board, being the park. I also did a drawing of the next part of our music video, us having a picnic at the park. We have decided to incorporate props with the idea by having a picnic setup, with the blanket and basket, and well even be eating food/using it as a prop.
